How much pain medication should you and I be allowed to have?
Who should decide that?
Currently the DEA decides it, on a patient by patient basis depending on who they want to target.
And I mean literally 'target', because after all, tens of millions of Americans use legally prescribed pain killers, so all they can do is selectively pick people out.
Rush Limbaugh is a current example. Now they didn't set out to 'target' him. But once his use hit their radar, it might be fair to say he has been singled out, given the millions of other Americans who also use more than the minimum amounts allowed by the DEA.
